The things I know today...

• that I don't mind getting old, except the chin hairs.... UGH!
• that clipping coupons is a full-time job!
• that I don't get a lot accomplished on cloudy days...
• that politics brings out the worst in people... :(
• that my yard is full of leaves again after just raking on Sunday!!!

The things I know today...

• that pajama bottoms aren't pants...apparently other people don't know this
• that cats can catch squirels (just saw this today for the first time)...
• that walking into the basement when your daughter isn't expecting it will scare her and scar her for life... (she's ok...now) :)
• that I have gone from a blonde to a red head to brunette in the last week and I like myself as a brunette best (my natural color)...
• that I really don't want to sit out in the rain at the last football game (in a winless season) but I will because my daughter is cheering... :)
• that I'm proud of my son for writing a story for the local newspaper and it is on the front page!

• that I am an official adult because I LIKE to watch presidential debates...
• that it is best to forgive and forget BUT that doesn't mean that you have to go back to the way things were...
• that starting a meal planning system (inventory, weekly menus, price lists & using coupons) from scratch is difficult...
• that I don't like things that are raspberry flavored...bleech :(
• that Brad Pitt can sell me Chanel No. 5 anytime..:)

• I can't get a good night's sleep if the sheet is untucked at the bottom of the bed...
• I'm too lazy to get up in the middle of the night to tuck in the sheet...
• that "1 out of 4 are winners" does not necessarily mean that 1 out of 4 are winners... :)

• that a body in motion tends to stay in motion and that a body at rest tends to stay at rest... :)
• french fries and a cupcake do NOT make a good lunch!

• Fall is my favorite time of year... :)
• 2 clementines, 1 piece of toast and 1 donut is too much for breakfast... bleech...
• that I feel bad when I have to cancel my hair appointment (since my stylist is a good friend).. :(
• Online stores shouldn't advertise a big sale and not have the necessary computer system to handle all the volume!!!
• Don't try to save money by canceling your hair appointment (see #3 bullet point) and coloring your hair by yourself...!!!!

Cleaning

Just wanted to document what I did today, cleaning wise...I washed the 2 red valances (and the 2 black valances in Mitchell's room) for the kitchen windows. I washed down the wall over the kitchen sink and washed the wood (with Murphy's oil soap) around that same kitchen window. I also washed the cupboard to the right of the sink and the outside of the closet door. I then took the blind over the kitchen window out and rinsed it on the drive-way with the hose, wiped it down with a rag and hung it over the truck bed to drive in the sun. Then I washed the window over the sink, re-hung the blind, steamed the valance and hung it back up. Then washed the knick-knacks that sit on the little shelfs, washed the bottom of the dish drainer and cleaned the sink!!!
